"I went along to Nettys workshop with no sewing skills whatsoever, yet through her warm guidance and welcoming ways I came out with a creation I was really proud of. I'd definitely recommend trying Nettys classes they are a lot of fun and you might surprise yourself!" Kelly
"Coming to your craft sessions has been a wonderful experience for me I've learnt new crafts. My favourite I think has to be Slow Stitching It opened up a new hobby for me and I've got my embroidery out again. Thank you for your patience and friendship." - Ann
"My 13 year old daughter had sewing lessons with Netty, which were perfectly tailored to her ability and her desire to create. Netty is so wonderfully caring, kind and patient and each lesson was a highlight in my daughter's week. She would go home buzzing after each session, not only buoyed up by her newly found confidence and the satisfaction of acquired skills but also because Netty brings so much positivity and encouragement and is just such a lovely warm person to be around. Thank you, Netty, we so look forward to more session with you!" - Melanie
"I've attended different workshops organised by Netty and I can honestly say "The lady is an inspiration". She fills you with confidence you never knew you had, she inspires you to try different skill sets and to believe in yourself. Netty is such a joy, she is so creative and takes you smiling along with her on the journey of using fabric. Whether it's making it reusable or something beautiful to look at. Thank you Netty for introducing me to slow stitching, a craft that makes me smile and for inspiring me to look at used fabric and think 'what could I do with that?' Every community needs a Netty." - Jo
"I attended the first 3 Make It Wearable sessions where I was advised how to upcycle a favourite pair of jeans after they’d remained in the wardrobe after a losing battle with grandchildren and acrylic paint. Netty showed me how to embellish with embroidery flowers and advised on the placement of appliqué petals for more detail. The venue was bright and airy with plenty of room to spread out ideal for lots of people working on their own projects. Always grateful for the tea and biscuits that were and added bonus. I would love for these sessions to continue as I have many new ideas I’d like to try with help! Thanks." - Karon
