MENDING PATCH

This heart made patch is a small piece of art, made to be worn.

Each patch is stitched by hand, one small stab at a time, the same way Boro/Sashiko mending has been worked for centuries reinforcing, decorating, and honouring fabric that needs a little love. The fabric itself has already lived a little too, reloved from offcuts, scraps and pieces that would otherwise have gone to waste, every patch carries its own small history before a single stitch is added. No two are quite the same and no two scraps of fabric are either.

You can sew it over a hole, onto a favourite jacket, use it as a patchwork square and let it sit proudly on show. However you choose to wear it, it carries a little piece of the same belief behind everything I make: that the things worth having are worth mending.

Handmade in Derbyshire from reloved fabric.

Every patch is one of a kind and the one you receive will be entirely its own.
