Re-loved & Mended: An Upcycling Sewing Workshop

This workshop is an invitation to slow down with me and spend a little time with what you already have. We’ll work with pre-loved clothing and textiles pieces that might feel worn, forgotten or no longer “quite right” and gently explore how they can be re-loved into something useful, personal and full of story.

I’ll share the skills I’ve gathered over 35 years of dressmaking and textile work. This workshop isn’t about rules or perfection. It’s about creative repair, visible stitch and learning to trust your hands. Sometimes it’s just a small change, a patch, a line of stitching, a rethink that helps a garment feel loved again.

There’s no pressure to be experienced or confident with sewing. Just come as you are, with curiosity and an openness to play. My hope is that you leave not only with something you’ve worked on, but with a renewed connection to your clothes and a gentler way of thinking about what you already own.
