This one is little different, there is no pattern to follow here. No right way and no wrong, just you, a needle, some thread and the quiet, meditative pleasure of stitching freely and intuitively at your own pace.

Slow stitch is about the experience of making rather than the outcome. It is about giving your hands something to do while your mind finds its rest, the kind of gentle, absorbing creativity that leaves you feeling calmer, clearer and more present than when you arrived. In a world that moves too fast and asks too much, an afternoon of slow stitch is a genuinely radical act.

You will work with fabric, thread and simple embellishments, building texture, colour and pattern in whatever way feels right to you. No two pieces ever look the same and that is entirely the point.

Fabric, a selection of threads and everything you need to begin is provided. Just bring yourself and a willingness to slow down.
